Black Monday

Sushi King held a RM2 promotion for all food on the kaiten belt. Phine has the card which allowed her to bring 5 of us, ngam ngam happy family.

Happily, we decided to have dinner there.

Happily, Kar Lai and Mei Kee were in the queue for half an hour, urging us to come quickly from Semenyih.

Happily, and slightly anxious as Kar Lai was raged, Phine flew us there at a maximum speed of 120. Stunned.

Happily, we reached there and started grabbing food on the belt. Octopus, eggs with shredded crab sticks, abalone?, ebiko, unagi, soft-shelled crab... Awaiting for tempura.

Happily, we ate and ate and asked for refill of green tea. Wai Xin and Phine went to search for tempura.

Happily, a waiter came requesting to take the plates away. Find it weird to see him arranged the plates according to colours and patterns.

2 beige, 10 pink, 1 red, 3 purple. Promoted price.
7 pink, 5 red, 4 purple. Normal price.

Bing nodded without hesitation. Wait. Normal price? NORMAL PRICE?! NOOOOOO~~

The top plates with side of single colour are at promoted price. The plates below with side of alternate white and coloured are all at NORMAL PRICE.Depressingly, rushed to stop Wai Xin and Phine from taking any plates at normal price.

Depressingly, came 3 plates of tempura at promoted price. But at this moment, we had lost our appetite.

Depressingly, Wai Xin, Phine and I ate 2 plates of tempura, 1 was returned to the belt.

Depressingly, we had a look at the promotion cardboard on our table. It was stated there. Innocently, Phine told us that it was not like this when she last ate it during the same promotion the year before.

Depressingly, I observed customers around us. Just to make us more depressed because they didn't take as many normal-priced plates as us. It seems that they know about it.

Depressingly, we paid an unexpected bill with 3 digits and left. Decided not to tell anyone about this. Sigh. It's truly a black Monday.
