Hmm, today is the 4th day I'm here in Nottingham, UK. Think I've finally settled down, but yet to adapt myself to the weather here. Cold almost anywhere, anytime.

Back to the day I departed from hometown. Nervous and sad. Tried hard to hold my tears when parents asked me to take good care of myself and when bro gave me his amulet. Then I took off, along with 6 of my friends. Hmm, guess it's a good thing to have friends around, indirectly providing me barrier to grief.

6 hours to transit at Dubai. Lost appetite. Couldn't eat much. Watched Monsters vs Aliens.

Dubai. Besides charging our handphones, we did nothing much, just took a couple of photos in the airport.
6 hours to London. A torturing flight. Cramped legs. Couldn't find the a comfortable position to sleep. Spent 2 hours at the immigration due to long queue just to be asked 'pharmacy right?' 'Yes!' Phine was the one who was required to get to another queue just because her documents were in the baggage. Passed the custom too easily as there was no people checking, that we didn't realize that we had passed it. Found our coach and off we go to Nottingham. And finally, some sleep.

Moved into temporary hostel. 1st floor. Carried our baggage, approximately 40kg per person on average. Fuiyoh. What to do but forced ourselves to get them up. Not willing to take anything out from my baggage.

Quite good to be indoor. Comfy duvet, comfy bed but dim lighting, cold basin water. Even the clothes hanger in the bathroom was connected to a plug. Warm clothes right after a warm bath. Outdoor was kinda extreme for me. Cold wind blows towards you, swirling around the uncovered portion. Cold, cold and cold. Went to uni for registration. Opened bank account. Took a jab of Meningitis C vaccine. Painful till present.

Hot air balloon.The temporary hostel.
In uni.Ducky. Should be goose.
Moved into permanent hostel on 19th. Carried baggage down from 1st floor, onto the bus, down the bus, up to 2nd floor. Kinda proud that we made it.

So here I am, in Nottingham. Hope to adapt myself soon.
