Sleep + Sleep + Sleep + Sleep
And so we arrived in chilly Stockholm with average temperature of below freezing point daily. The slippery consolidated snow made me fall twice.
Even the rivers were almost frozen.
Looking for our hostel was a pain. Traveled to and fro at Västerlånggatan.
Cold. Hungry. Exhausted. Heavy.
Entry was refused without booking. So we ended up with McD.
All time favourite, anywhere, anytime.
There's nothing much to see during winter. People stopped working or start working late and close early. Just some little experiences.
With the windmill.
With huge Dala horse.
Climbing up a snow hill.
Climbing up some other things.
Frightened by a daring squirrel which climbed up my leg.
Frightened by a wooden bear.
Chasing the elks for pictures.
Chasing the shark for pictures.
Craving for lobsters.
Had loads of breads.
Shared a nstekt strommings.
My first raw herring platter.
Local delicacy - Meatballs.
Pork chop with cream and sweet sauce.
Shy posing.
Frozen in Ice Bar.
Frozen by drinks in ice cups.
95% frozen.
The most anticipating one was perhaps the Skyview.
View of the city from the top.
Going up once is definitely not enough. Came back again later in the day.
But was refused entry. Only one entry per day.
Hmm, we had been looking forward for the night view from the top. So what else could we do besides these?
However, Stockholm has its beautiful side.
And perhaps more so during summer.
Not to forget about the hostel.
Exquisite and cosy.
We wrote something too.
And so ends the 4-day trip with little sparks between us. But not to worry, all is well now.
