The day we left UK was clearly in mind. An extremely hectic day. Carrying a total of 75kg baggage was overwhelming, especially taking a train, which we needed to transit thrice, instead of a coach. A silly decision. Also wasted quite some time fidgeting how to retrieve our train tickets bought online when our bank accounts had been closed. An emergency block of a tube station in London forced us to travel to the final transit station by bus.

Checking-in the baggage was just a tease of mind. We were requested to cut down on the baggage's weight, both check-in and hand luggage, and go to the drop-off counter after that. Not changing the weight much, added another handbag instead, carrying his whey protein powder and my shoes. Successful check-in with a less accurate weighing machine at the other counter. Custom check was never that stringent or maybe his powder was to be blamed. Skeptical look from the staff as expected. Finally, some peace of mind. A strawberry milkshake to comfort the fatigue body and several farewell messages from Alex. Plus a beautiful sunset to send us off.

I'll miss UK a lot.

Back home two weeks ago but have started working before getting myself some time to fully recharge from the exhaustion of trips, house-emptying and flight. A 3-day promoter in Penang testing blood alkalinity. Looks like some sort of professional job but not many came for a prick on the finger.

Slightly alkaline blood.

Full time office girl experiencing food poisoning together with colleagues after a lunch with chicken. The days shall get more busy. And I'm still yet to adapt fully to the heat of Malaysia.
